Can I really be so strong
As to love without holding back
Boundless and free
To love without fear
Give away my whole heart
Trust you to be its protector
That’s a lot of responsibility  
To put upon one person
To me it sounds crazy
Yet this is what you expect of me
I need to trust you
I want to trust you
Not to leave me here alone in my love
Take my heart and never break it
I want you to always be here beside me
To hold me close
Whisper sweet words into my ear
Premises of faith and devotion
Unto me and only me
I will love you forever
Never shall I sway in my vows of love
I will surrender to you my very soul
My very last breath of life will be in love for you
So long as you take care of my heart
I will give my life to you
A poem I have keep in a folder for a long time and never bothered to post. Or I did and just keep forgetting too. I was in a poetry mood and came up with this. It’s sounds like lots of my other poems but I really really like it. I will give my one and only life to the one I love most. She has it and can keep it forever. Do with my heart what she likes. Just as long as she takes care of my heart, I’m hers.
